JESUS CLEARLY.

CORE VALUES

These values serve as the fundamental principles that shape our community, representing the essential truths that remain when all else is removed. They shape the structure, systems, and programs of the entire church.

01.

Authentic

We embrace authenticity, living our life in the light, not falling into the temptation of perception management.

02.

Christ Exalting

We delight in giving praise to God for His Son Jesus Christ because all things were created by him, through him, and for him.

03.

Biblically Faithful

We teach the whole counsel of Scripture that we might learn to love God with all of our hearts and with all of our minds.

04.

Living Sent

We join God on his mission to engage and serve all peoples that they may taste and see that He is good.

05.

Countercultural Unity

We actively cultivate genuine relationships and continuously seek reconciliation with one another, refraining from engaging in gossip or any divisive behavior. Our unity is strengthened by the presence of the Holy Spirit within us.

06.

Radical Generosity

We desire to be marked by relationships in which we might serve one another in visible and sacrificial ways that are distinctly unique from that of the world, which will then extend to the lost and dying world around us.

“Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us— to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

Ephesians 3:20-21

MISSION STATEMENT

“We exist so that all may see Jesus clearly.”

Our world is full of distractions, distortions, and competing voices that cloud the truth about Jesus. We are committed to making Him unmistakably known—through engaging the lost, equipping the saints, and empowering members for service—so that every person has the opportunity to see Jesus clearly and respond to Him with faith.

Our vision is not simply to grow a church, but to lift high the name of Jesus in such a way that He becomes non-ignorable in our community, across our nation, and to the ends of the earth.

Engaging the lost.

Engaging the lost doesn’t merely mean sharing the gospel with them but living a life that is dedicated to serving others and not just speaking the gospel but living it out.

Equipping the saints.

Equipping someone means providing them with the necessary tools, skills, knowledge, and resources to accomplish a specific task or to fulfill a particular role effectively.

Empowering members for service.

As the church, we don’t want to just equip members for ministry (teaching them what to do/say/think), we want to empower them (giving authority, autonomy, and confidence to take action)

THE BUILDING BLOCKS

When did we lose sight of what the Church was supposed to be?

Acts 2:37-47 shows us that a healthy church really is a simple thing; however, sadly, we have exchanged true simplicity and community for a consumeristic show on Sundays. We have established simple building blocks in order to prevent that from happening!

What we Believe

As a Christian Church, we hold to the teachings of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and find in its pages all that is necessary for salvation in Christ by grace through faith.

Core Values

CrossView Community Church embodies five core values that define our identity and actions. These values serve as the fundamental principles that shape our community, representing the essential truths that remain when all else is removed. They shape the structure, systems, and programs of the entire church.

Functions of the Church

In Acts 2:37-47, a distinct blueprint emerges illustrating what it means to “be the church.” These fundamental actions represent the core functions of a church. Ultimately, the most effective church remains a straightforward one, devoted to fulfilling the uncomplicated blueprint laid out in Acts 2.
